The University Medical Services (UMS)

The University Medical Services (UMS) plan is tailored for students who come to study in one of the academic institutes in Israel for the duration of one year or less. The plan covers medical care within the borders of Israel and packages can be tailored for short-term or medium-term coverage for up to 12 months.   For health insurance requirements longer than one year, please contact our office to discuss options for doctoral candidates, medical students, scholars conducting long-term research projects and others planning to be affiliated with an academic institution for up to 6 years.

The First Class Travel Policy covers trips outside of Israel for a set period of time (e.g. to attend conferences, to take a vacation or to visit your family at home). The policy provides comprehensive medical coverage while abroad , transportation back to Israel for medical care in the event of an emergency, and an option for baggage and third-party insurance.

3. Apartment contents, personal possessions and laptop insurance, as well as third party liability insurance in Israel.
